“At the weekend I attended a 2 day masterclass in ombré/powder brows and an advanced colour theory workshop. On the first day I was provided with an In depth training manual and good box full of samples. Day 1 was theory based and I learnt so much! It really helped the pieces fall into place, such as seeing and understanding undertones and how this truly affects the pigments we choose. It also taught me to understand what was in my pigments and how they would heal depending on the undertones and Fitzpatrick of the skin. It was like a dawning realisation of how all the bits I had been taught actually fitted together. Day 2 was all practical based. The morning was spent carrying out mat practice. It was so reassuring to be told by Lara that my knowledge and skills were really good, and that all I was lacking in was self confidence and how to apply my tattooing in a pattern that would lead to consistent results. The afternoon was where I consolidated all that I had learned by working under the close supervision of Lara on a model. She never left my side. She was right there with me, reminding me of what we had gone over and how to implement everything, reassuring me every step of the way. Lara was passionate and patient. She was extremely knowledgeable and is a very gifted artist. It was an absolute pleasure to be taught by her and I plan to start saving so I can spend another day with her in the not so distant future. I highly recommend her for your training needs.”
